Chimaroke Nnamani Not dead!
The former Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani has denied speculations that he had died. Over the last twenty-four hours, rumors haven been making round that Dr. Nnamani had died. But Igbonekwu Ogazimorah, a Commissioner for Information under the Nnamani administration, the former governor’s aide issued a statement denying the rumors. The text of Mr. Ogazimorah’s statement is below: Here is stating that there is no truth whatsoever in the claim by some people that former governor of Enugu State, Chimaroke Nnamani, is dead or gripped with any terminal illness. Yes, Nnamani undertook a successful open heart surgery two months ago and has been recuperating. He personally spoke to me twice yesterday and over seven times today, Friday, August 17.
