Oko Prison Break Season 1; 12 flee


A jail break occured today at the Oko Medium Security Prison located in along Airport road, Benin, Edo State. Those who spoke to Breaking News Nigeria said that they said sounds of explosions and sporadic shootings arounding the area.
No fewer than 12 inmates were said to have escaped. One of the eya witnesses had it that the inmates overpowered the prison security while others say some hudlums stormed the prison to release some members of their gang held there.
Presently, security Agencies were seen all over the area guarding against further intrusion, as at the time of this report, Breaking News Nigeria could not reach any of the prison officials.
