Rivers State University of Science and Technolgy on Strike


The Rivers State University of Science and Technology(RSUST) has once again, gone on an indefinite strike action over the imposition of a new VC by the state government. Though the reasons have not been clearly stated, it is believed that the strike is as a result of the imposition of the Acting Vice Chancellor on the school.
Students report that he lost in the criteria and followed not the due process and yet for political reasons the state governor imposed him on RSUST as Vice chancellor.
